Damn! Record high temperatures today, 81 at the airport (dumb, no one lives at the airport) with more tomorrow. Yeah I know this is way above normal but dammit it sure feels good to be outside in sandals at the end of December.
Again the MySpace timing thing rears it’s strange sense of timing. One of my best friends that I had to say goodbye to because her new boyfriend, later husband (and soon to be ex) couldn’t deal with her having a male friend that she didn’t shag.
Two weeks after I get to Austin I get an email from her. Getting divorced, kids are grown, or almost. Lovely timing.
But all things considered it is nice to get back in touch with an old friend.
