Strange Dating Emails: Casual Sex? Why No Thank You.

I recently discovered another free online dating site OKCupid.com. And it is actually pretty good. Unlike plentyoffish.com it is laid out well and has some interesting and entertaining features. If you are interested in dipping your toe into the internet dating pool OKCupid would be worth a try.

But like anything on the internet that allows you to become a member without paying even a token fee you end up with a lot of idiots. Like this lovely example.

When I see stuff like this I am reminded of a few boys I knew in Junior HS and High School who always seemed to be successful with the ladies. I asked what their secret of success was. Pretty simple really, walk up to every girl they see and ask if they wanted to go either go out back and make out or have sex. They claimed a success rate of 1 in 100.

I have said this before to more than a few women I have met online but it bears repeating. The delete key is your friend. And don’t take idiots like this seriously at all. No matter where you go, any dating site, bar, social club or church group. There’s always going to be the inappropriate asshole. Ignore them.

The sender of this literary masterpiece is a 25 year old male living in California with a vague and generic profile that is no longer active. The recipient is a very attractive lady in her mid 40s. She has promised to send me a few more. Oh goodie!
